Universal Air Repair, LLC,  a subsidiary of UAM,  expands its operation to include Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) services .  UAR now offers magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, eddy current, ultrasonic and visual inspection.  UAR named Karl Smith NDI Manager and Chief Inspector.  Smith is level 3 certified and an ASNT member.  His services will be available on-site at customers’ facilities as well as at Universal Air Repair’s conveniently located Memphis, TN operation.

Universal Air Repair, LLC received ISO/IEC 17025:2005 calibration laboratory accreditation from Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation, effective 17 December 2009.  UAR’s accreditation extends to Dimensional, Mechanical, Electrical, Mass/Force, Time/Frequency and Pressure, among others.

Universal Air Repair, LLC becomes authorized dealer for TPI(Test Products International), a manufacturer of handheld test and measurement equipment - including digital multimeters and clamp meters.

Universal Air Repair, LLC,  a subsidiary of UAM,  expands its operation in a recent acquisition of Superior Calibration Services .  Universal Air Repair will now be providing calibration and repair services on a wide range of tooling, test equipment and instruments used in the aviation, industrial and biomedical manufacturing industries worldwide.  These services will be available on-site at customers’ facilities as well as at Universal Air Repair’s conveniently located Memphis, TN operation.   This acquisition and the addition of key personnel diversifies UAR’s business into other industries and service support.

Universal air repair receives easa certification

Universal Air Repair LLC receives EASA certification to operate as an approved Repair Station with Limited Accessories ratings. UAM to add new 10,000 square-foot repair facility

Universal Asset Management announced the addition of a new 10,000 square-foot repair facility - Universal Air Repair, LLC.  Pending FAA certification, this subsidiary will be UAM's first venture into commercial aviation maintenance.
