UAR announces the hiring of Sherry Morris as its Sales Representative for component and calibration services.  Sherry brings a wealth of industry experience and extensive knowledge in all aspects of our operations.  Her experience will be instrumental in continuing UAR's growth and success, in addition to the expansion of our capabilities.

UAR will be adding another hydraulic test bench to enhance our already superior turn times for hydraulic components.  The demand for UAR’s hydraulic services continues to grow and by adding an additional test stand we’ll ensure our turnaround time remains highly competitive.

Anthony Gunter attended the Regional Airline Association (RAA) conference in Nashville, TN.  RAA was a great opportunity to discuss the growing opportunities UAR can offer to Regional Airlines and Suppliers.  It was a successful trip for us and we’re looking forward to further discussing new business partnerships with all the professionals we met.

UAR is proud to announce that we’ve been approved as a vendor for American Eagle Airlines.

Anthony Gunter attended the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) convention in Miami, FL.  We enjoyed the opportunity to network with other Aviation professionals and are tremendously grateful for the new customers we earned from our visits.

Our Calibration Department attended the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) conference in Reno, NV.   We appreciate everyone who stopped by the booth and are happy to announce that Caleb Janssen, ESA Services and Support Solutions, won the business card drop grand prize worth $300 in calibration discounts.  UAR donated a Digital Multimeter to silent auction to benefit the AEA educational foundation. 

December 2010

UAR has hired Anthony Gunter as its Managing Director.  Anthony has spent the last 10 years in a variety of senior management positions and most recently as a Division President of a publicly traded company based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  As the Managing Director, he will be responsible for the management and growth of all UAR's business units.

November 2010

UAR has hired Curtis Robinson as an A&P technician.  Curtis joins us from Aviation Repair Technologies in Blytheville, AR where he worked as a line mechanic. 

May 2010

Universal Air Repair, LLC,  a subsidiary of UAM,  expands its operation to include Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) services .  UAR now offers magnetic particle and liquid penetrant inspection at our Memphis facility.

December 2009

Universal Air Repair, LLC received ISO/IEC 17025:2005 calibration laboratory accreditation from Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation, effective 17 December 2009.  UAR’s accreditation extends to Dimensional, Mechanical, Electrical, Mass/Force, Time/Frequency and Pressure, among others.
